Chrysler and Jeep are doing the makeover thing again with the launch of an exclusive new lifestyle centre in Gauteng.

After the first lifestyle centre was successfully launched last year in Umhlanga in KwaZulu Natal, the next big hub – the East Rand Lifestyle Centre in Boksburg – has again been designed to appeal to the senses.

The new dealership, developed in conjunction with the Cargo Group, will house 700 m2 of showroom space, a 350 m2 parts division and 16 service bays. In addition, the dealership offers a coffee shop and a retail store, in the quest to appeal to buyers as people, rather than walking chequebooks.

"A pre-owned facility will also display up to 28 Chrysler and Jeep models at any one time," Phillip Michaux, managing director of the Cargo Group, said.

Brand Centre Leader Ntoko Molubi said he believed the new facility would have a direct impact on customer service levels. "This new facility will allow the Cargo Group to consolidate and grow its already successful retail operation in eastern Johannesburg, as well as focus on further improving the levels of service offered to our customers in all aspects of our business."

"We extend an open invitation to all our current and potential Chrysler and Jeep customers to visit the new Lifestyle Centre when we open for business on April 25," Molubi added.

The Chrysler and Jeep East Rand Lifestyle Centre, on the corners of Rietfontein and Northrand Roads, Boksburg, can be contacted on (011) 255 6000, [email protected] or 0860 00 JEEP.
