In the opening Class A race, the Castrol BMW 330i team of Anthony Taylor and Hennie Groenwald took the first and second places respectively, while Morne Jurgens took the final podium position in his Samsung Alfa Romeo 147 GTA.

Jurgens' team-mate Reghardt Roets finished fourth after beating the Sasol AR Nissan 350Z drivers of Gary Formato and Duncan Vos to the chequered flag.

Reghardt Roets dominated the wet second race from the start when he pushed into the lead from the first row on the grid to score the Alfa Romeo team's second race victory of the season.

Groenewald finished second in his BMW, ahead of the Nissan duo of Formato and Vos, while Taylor and Jurgen's rounded out the top six.

In Class B, the current points leader Dave Compton won the first race in his Sasol Toyota RunX RSi with Mike O'Sullivan (Motorola Fiat Stilo Abarth) and Delon Williams (Adrien Tee Peugeot 206 GTi) completed the top three.

In the second race, rally driver Claudio Piazza-Musso and his Sasol Toyota RunX RSi crossed the cross the finish line first. Team-mate Compton, Fiat drivers O'Sullivan and Angus Thompson and Bert Grogor in his German Workshop Toyota RunX RSi followed the leader across the line.

Trevor Tuck, a newcomer to Class C, took the first race in his privateer Fiat Palio ahead of the seasoned Eckhardt Schoenknecht (Delo VW Polo TDi) and Clinton Weston (M&R Digidoor Ford Ikon).

The current points leader Theunis Eloff was forced to retire after being nudged off the track on the sixth lap, but finished third in the next race, behind Carlo Nobre (VW CitiGolf1,6i) and Schoenknecht.

Tuck was severely restricted at the start of the race, but the CAR Magazine Rookie of the Day went on the finish the second race in fourth position.

In Class T for forced induction cars Shaun van der Linde (Castrol Mini Cooper S) and Martin Steyn (GP Windscreens Mini Cooper S) shared the respective race wins with Craig Nicholson (Sabat Mini Cooper S) finishing second in both races.
