Jaguar’s ETO (Engineered To Order) division has produced a monster. The Jaguar XKR-S GT is the most track-focused iteration of the XK line-up and will be limited to just 30 examples.

The Jaguar XKR-S GT manages to build on the XKR-S’s already-aggressive body kit with such features as wheel arch extensions, a rear diffuser and a front splitter, all of which are made of carbon-fibre; a ventilated bonnet and a huge boot-mounted rear wing.

The whole shooting match rolls on a set of 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels wrapped in low-profile Pirelli Corsa rubber (255/35 front and 305/30 rear). The 30 units being built will only be offered in Polaris white.

This car’s underpinnings incorporate a sports suspension setup with a “race-derived twin-spring system”, new adaptive dampers and revised bushings. The traction control system has also been revised, as has the steering system, while the brakes are 398 mm front/380 mm rear carbon ceramic items.

Power comes from the same supercharged 5,0-litre V8 currently doing service in the XKR-S. Developing 404 kW and 680 N.m, this unit is coupled with a six-speed ZF-sourced automatic transmission and will propel the XKR-S GT from standstill to 100 km/h in just 3,9 seconds and on to an electronically limited 299 km/h top speed.
