In November 2017, the folks over at ABT Sportsline revealed a freshly tuned version of the Audi RS3 sedan, hiking the peak power output of Ingolstadt’s silky smooth 2,5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder to a whopping 339 kW. But that figure apparently wasn’t quite high enough for the German tuner…

Now, to match the fettled RS3 Sportback unveiled in December 2017, ABT has announced that it will gladly take your RS3-badged saloon from the stock 294 kW and 480 N.m to a monstrous 368 kW and 570 N.m.

With this added oomph, the VW Group tuning specialist says the sedan will hit 100 km/h from standstill in just 3,7 seconds (some four-tenths quicker than standard) before topping out at a pleasingly round 300 km/h.

The upgrades include the addition of an in-house-developed ABT engine control unit, an ABT intercooler and a bespoke stainless-steel exhaust system. Then there’s the optional aerodynamics package, which includes a front lip and a gloss-black rear skirt, as well as a set of 102 mm tailpipes finished in black chrome. ABT says fender inserts are also available.

A KW threaded sport suspension kit is furthermore offered, along with anti-roll bars, upgraded brakes and ABT alloy wheels measuring 19 or 20 inches. Numerous “attractive interior options”, including plenty of carbon-fibre elements, are also available.
