A little while back, the rakish Hyundai i30 Fastback was revealed and, shorty thereafter, the hot hatch-derived N variant. Now, a model which will fill the gap between the cooking and hot versions has been revealed: the i30 Fastback N Line.

Much like the hatch, the i30 Fastback N Line gets some interior and exterior bits inspired by the full-fat N model, including new front and rear bumpers with silver character lines, a mesh-pattern grille, black bezels in the headlamps, a triangular rear foglamp and a diffuser.

Inside, the i30 Fastback N Line boasts a set of N Line-branded sports seats, steering wheel, metal pedals and gearshifter. The suspension has been adapted for a "more dynamic" drive, while Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres and 18-inch alloy wheels with larger brake discs have also been added.

In Europe, the N Line model can be specified with either the 88 kW 1,0- or 103 kW 1,4-litre T-GDi engines, both of which benefit from sharper throttle response.
