Hyundai has taken the wraps off the i30 N ‘N Option’ concept at the Paris Motor Show, providing an early glimpse at "possible future N accessories" for the hot hatch.

The Korean automaker says it aims to provide “a large amount of customisation features to driving enthusiasts who want to make their car more unique”.

The i30 ‘N Option’ showcases 25 exterior and interior individualisation options. The exterior accessories include a carbon rear wing (carrying the N emblem), a carbon bonnet with integrated air vents, quad mufflers and the N grille surrounded by a red character line.

The lightweight 20-inch alloys, meanwhile, are fitted with high-performance semi-slick tyres. The i30 N ‘N Option’ exterior colour is a unique matt paint, created specifically for the show car.

Inside, black carbon accents appear along the dashboard as well as round the air vents, door handles and on the bottom section of the steering wheel (which has been trimmed in Alcantara).

The upper dashboard and the light weight sport bucket seats are also trimmed in Alcantara. Sport pedals, a new gear shift and several other interior customisation options are also included.

“With our N portfolio we are shaking up the competition, and bringing new performance and emotions for our customers. The development of our N vehicles is grounded in motorsport and our engagement there is the pinnacle of N,” said Thomas Schemera, executive vice president of high performance vehicles and motorsport division at Hyundai Motor Group.

“The new i30 N Line and our i30 N ‘N Option’ show car illustrate our dual approach to customisation, making N available to a wider audience.”
