Fitted with the brand's supercharged 5,0-litre V8, the Jaguar F-Type in standard tune is already pretty potent. But the folks over at British motor company Lister figured that the sportscar could do with even more attitude and have thus created this: the LFT-666.

Drawing heavily on the firm's "Thunder" prototype, the production model's V8 has had its peak outputs hiked from the standard F-Type's 405 kW and 680 N.m of torque to 497 kW and 976 N.m of torque. This was achieved by means of upgraded dual supercharger pulleys, custom intercoolers, performance air filters and a custom Lister engine management unit. The result is a claimed 0-100 km/h time of just over 3,2 seconds and a top speed of 335 km/h.

Although it looks fairly similar to the standard F-Type, the LFT-666 boasts various carbon-fibre panels. A new front bumper, splitter and grille as well as rear bumper, diffuser, spoiler and wheel arches have been fitted, lowering the vehicle's weight. Other changes include a tweaked suspension and set of lighter alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Superseft XL tyres.

The LFT-666's cabin features Lister-branded bucket seats upholstered in leather and complete with green contrast stitching. This colour scheme is carried throughout the cabin, including on the centre console and door cards.

Just 99 examples of this custom Jaguar will be built, each starting from £139 950 (that's about R2,45-million at current exchange rates) in the United Kingdom. In addition, Lister says it will offer the wheels and body kit (sans the performance tune) on a model that will be badged simply the LFT.
