A Ferrari 488 Pista just a bit out of your reach? Abarth has introduced a special-edition package that's a touch more accessible. It’s called the 595 Pista and it offers a reworked turbocharged engine and a catalogue of bespoke kit.

Under the bonnet, the car's 1,4-litre four-cylinder engine which has been equipped with an oversized Garrett turbocharger and features a reduced geometric compression ratio of 9:1. This translates to 121 kW and 230 N.m of torque delivered to the front wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission.

The engine note is amplified by a Record Monza Active exhaust, while updated handling characerfistics are introduced via a Koni-sourced rear suspension with Frequency Selective Damping. Ventilated 284 mm front- and 240 mm rear discs offer improved stopping power.

As seen in these pictures, The 595 Pista’s unique colour scheme is called the adrenaline kit and includes green accents on the front and rear bumper, door mirror caps and wheel caps. The body itself can be finished in a selection of colours.

In cabin you’ll find standard new upholstery with diamond patterns or the option of set of Sabelt 70 bucket seats. A flat-bottom sports steering with straight-ahead marking completes the look.
