German firm Hofele has released a new package for the Mercedes-Benz GLS, upgrading the Stuttgart-based company's luxury SUV and rebranding it the "Ultimate HGLS".

The exterior gains a two-tone colour scheme (black and silver), similar to that applied to the Mercedes-Maybach GLS. Here, however, the big SUV gains in-house-designed 22-inch alloy wheels rather than Maybach's signature items.

Inside, you'll find swathes of Nappa leather and Alcantara. Extra attention to detail has been placed on the contrast piping, roof lining and high-quality lambswool carpets.

While Maybach is so far offering its version in GLS600 guise only, Hofele will fit the package to any of Mercedes-Benz's GLS engine derivatives.
