It began with the standard Q8 (in both 50 TDI and 55 TFSI guise), followed by the sportier S-badged version, and now ABT Sportsline has turned its attention to Audi's newest halo performance SUV, the RS Q8.

Producing a whopping 441 kW and 800 N.m of torque as standard, the German tuner reckons the 4,0-litre V8 can do with even more grunt. Via some under-the-bonnet tweaks (chiefly to the ECU), the twin-turbocharged petrol unit now churns out 515 kW and 880 N.m.

According to ABT, though, the model's already impressive claimed 0-100 km/h sprint time of 3,8 seconds remains unchanged (we suspect the enhancements will make their presence felt during overtaking).

The upgraded model is equipped with ABT’s level control electronic suspension kit, lowering the RS Q8 by up to 25 mm. “Special” light-weight alloys in various designs and sizes (23-inch items are pictured here) are also on offer.
