The BMW X2 was revealed in 2017 as a compact crossover that caters to consumers with an active lifestyle. Three years later, the Bavarian brand has given its quirky SUV a unique trim in the guise of this M Mesh Edition which features a number of visual highlights.

The design contrasts a Brooklyn Grey body paint with orange decals (a no cost option) and a mesh kidney grille finished in Frozen Black-Brown metallic inspired by BMW’s racing cars. This is also used on the bumper trimming, side skirt and door cladding and wheel arch trim. Orange inserts are also applied to the M aerodynamic wheels which come in sizes 19- and 20-inches.

The BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line with extended features is standard fit on this variant. The M Mesh sports a high-gloss black window and door mirror surrounds, base and triangle, B-pillar trim and trim surround on the C-pillars. This package also includes the surround for the M mesh kidney grille, a ring around the BMW badge on the tailgate and exhaust tailpipe finishers in black chrome.

New to the exterior, across the X2 range, is a revised front-end design which has been shaped to accentuate the crossover’s sportiness and create a more modern look.

Visual elements have been applied to the interior as well, with an aim to echo the exterior design by using a bi-colour scheme. Exclusive covers for the M sport front seats and rear bench feature a blend of Dakota leather in Mocha and Anthracite-coloured Alcantara with contrast orange stitching.
