Delta4x4, the German all-terrain vehicle specialist, has revealed its latest take on the facelifted Ford Ranger, which it calls "The Beast".

The company has raised the Ranger's ride height by a whopping 150 mm, thanks to a 100 mm lift kit and a 50 mm spring kit. This provides the bakkie with not only greater ground clearance, but also improved axle articulation. Off-road capable it most certainly will be.

Should you desire another 20 mm of ground clearance (why not go the whole hog?), Delta4x4 says it will supply new 20-inch alloys wrapped in 315/55 R 20 Yokohama rubber.

The Beast can furthermore be fitted with new LED light-bars featuring yellow tints. Wide-body fender extensions and a chunky bull-bar round out the upgrade.

The cost? Delta4x4 says prices start at €10 000 (around R156 000), on top of the cost of the Ranger itself. Alternatively, various elements of the kit can be purchased individually.
