Hyundai has released a few teaser shots of its facelifted Kona, which will also be offered in N Line guise for the first time.

The Korean firm says the Kona’s mid-cycle update will bring a “wider stance” along with a “shark-inspired nose” that lends the crossover a “sleeker look”. As you can see in the teaser images above, the Kona gains upgraded daytime running lights as well as changes to its front bumper and faux-skidplate.

Hyundai promises the fresh N Line version will boast a “more aerodynamic design” than the standard model, complete with low-set air intakes and a more aggressive front bumper.

The company says additional details about the facelifted Kona and Kona N Line will be released in the coming weeks.

As a reminder, the current Kona range in South Africa comprises just two variants, with the manual 1,0T Executive priced at R406 500 and the automatic 2,0 Executive at R427 900.
