The Lister Stealth has finally been revealed, based on the Jaguar F-Pace SVR and boasting a higher top speed than the Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga Speed.

The British firm has handed the SVR more power and a handful of cosmetic adjustments, saying just 100 units will be built.

Power comes from the familiar supercharged 5,0-litre V8, though here the peak figures have been hiked from the standard 405 kW and 680 N.m of torque to 497 kW and 881 N.m. This has been achieved by installing a custom‐built intercooler, a high‐performance air filtration system and upgraded dual supercharger pulleys.

With these upgrades, the Lister Stealth is able to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 3,6 seconds and reach a top speed of 314 km/h. That's a higher terminal velocity than the Urus (305 km/h) and Bentayga Speed (306 km/h). Stopping power has been improved as well thanks to a set of uprated front and rear brakes.

The Lister Stealth is visually distinctive thanks to a collection of handmade carbon-fibre panels. The front bumper sports two large air intakes for improved airflow while a splitter provides greater aerodynamic efficiency.

At the rear, the new bumper sports a diffuser which grants the SUV additional downforce and houses a stainless-steel exhaust system with carbon-fibre tips. The profile is accentuated with side skirts, wider wheel arches and 23-inch Vossen forged alloy wheels.

In the cabin, high-grade "Bridge of Weir" Nappa leather is used to reupholster the seats. Up to 36 colour combinations are available for customers. These can be applied to the seatbelts, sport seats, dashboard, steering wheel and roof lining.

Pricing for the Lister Stealth starts at £109 950 (approximately R2,45-million).
