Lumma Design has released details of its head-turning tuning package for the Audi RS Q8, handing the Ingolstadt-based firm’s flagship SUV a dramatic makeover that includes a bump in power.

Dubbed the CLR 8 RS, the tuned Audi gains new front and rear spoiler lips, aggressive wheel arch extensions, wider door panels, a rear diffuser, a rear spoiler and new side panels. All pieces are formed from “ultra-light” carbon-fibre, says the firm. Thanks to the larger air inlets up front, Lumma claims improved ventilation for the braking system.

This, of course, comes in handy, since Lumma has also hiked the twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8’s peak outputs, which rise to 518 kW and 910 N.m of torque, up from the standard 441 kW and 800 N.m. The tuner has furthermore thrown in a quad-pipe sports exhaust system for extra aural menace.

The final touch on the CLR 8 RS package is a set of 23-inch LR light multispoke alloy wheels, shod in  305/30 R23 tyres. Spacers to widen the track are available as an optional extra.
