Manhart has released new information about its tuning package for the BMW X5 M Competition and X6 M Competition performance SUVs.

The kit includes a fairly modest bump in power, a louder exhaust system, lowered suspension and a fresh set of wheels.

Thanks to an MHtroinc ECU remap, the twin-turbo 4,4-litre V8’s peak outputs have been pushed from the standard 460 kW and 750 N.m of torque to 515 kW and 900 N.m. In addition, the firm has fitted a stainless-steel rear muffler for extra volume.

Chassis revisions include a custom setup, a ride height drop of 30 mm and a set of 23-inch Manhart Concave One alloy wheels finished in silk matte black. The braking system can be individually configured as per customer request.

Visual alterations include carbon treatment for the front spoiler, rear diffuser and mirror caps, while a gold decal pack contrasts with the black paint. Interior customisations can also be requested.
