Before we welcome the G82 BMW M4, Manhart has presented us with a special one-off build based on the M4 DTM released in 2017. This exclusive model sports a notable increase in power and some new aerodynamic parts.

Using the S55 twin-turbo 3,0-litre straight-six engine, Manhart has upped the standard power output of 386 kW and 600 N.m of torque to 520 kW and 980 N.m. This has been achieved by means of applying a ECU remapping, improved intercooler sourced from CSF, a carbon intake by ARMA, aluminium charge pipes and a stainless steel exhaust system with valve controls and four 100 mm carbon tailpipes.

To handle this additional power, the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission has also received an upgrade. The chassis and the carbon-ceramic brake system remains untouched on the M4 DTM but these can be enhanced upon request.

Despite it looking quite track-focused in standard guise, a carbon front spoiler and lip, a new rear wing and a carbon diffuser have been applied. An additional spoiler lip on the boot and exterior mirror caps have also been added. The look is finished off by a set of 20-inch Concave One forged alloy wheels with 255/35 front and 295/30 rear tyres.

Most of the cabin has been left untouched apart from the steering wheel which has been reupholstered in Alcantara.
