Hofele Design has turned its attention to the Mercedes-Benz GLE, shortly after customising the SUV’s larger sibling, the GLS.

Much like its bigger brother, the “HGLE” receives an exterior colour scheme that leaves it looking like a Mercedes-Maybach as well as plenty of attention to detail in the cabin.

On the exterior, Hofele has applied a two-tone colour combination featuring Tiffany Gold and Obsidian Black, which is accompanied by a set of 23-inch Turbine forged alloy wheels coated with a diamond polish. Adding further glitz to the design are a chrome grille and extra front-bumper trim. The rear end gains a new diffuser finished in piano gloss black and housing fresh tailpipes.

However, things get really special once you step inside. The rear bench has been replaced with a two-seat arrangement, divided by a centre console to create a more exclusive cabin experience. Furthermore, the interior has been completely reupholstered in a mix of Nappa leather and Alcantara.

The seats also benefit from a unique perforation and seam design, complete with contrast golden piping. In the boot, a high-gloss wooden floor in piano lacquer with inlaid aluminium struts creates a “yacht-like” ambiance.
