The folks over at Wheelsandmore have released new tuning packages for the Mercedes-AMG GLE53 and GLE63 S.

Yes, the tuner has created four tuning stages for the GLE63 S, while the GLE53 has been handed a more modest upgrade.

The GLE53's turbocharged 3,0-litre straight-six engine (with the 48 V mild-hybrid system) has been fitted with a Tec-Tronic engine control unit, which take peak outputs from the standard 320 kW and 520 N.m of torque to 375 kW and 620 N.m.

And the twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8 engine of the GLE63 S (which likewise features a 48 V EQ Boost system)? Well, the ECU upgrade takes the standard outputs of 450 kW and 850 N.m upgrades to 522 kW and 950 N.m in the stage one tune. The second stage, which adds optimised downpipes with sport catalysts and uprated turbochargers, increases the figures to 588 kW and 1 040 N.m. With this package, the top-speed limiter is lifted, allowing owners to pass 320 km/h.

At stage three, the control unit is further enhanced and the twin-scroll turbochargers receive reinforced wastegates, which results in 633 kW and 1 150 N.m. At this point, mechanical reinforcements are made to the transmission to handle the massive torque output. The fourth and final stage adds an even stronger pair of turbochargers to deliver 677 kW and 1 150 N.m.

In terms of styling upgrades, Wheelsandmore has equipped the performance SUVs with a set of G-Logic 24-inch rims with 295/30 R24 front and 355/25 R24 rear tyres. A fresh exhaust system and a smartphone-controlled module for lowering the air suspension are currently also being developed.
