Brabus has released its first package for the new Mercedes-Benz GLB, handing the crossover more aggressive styling and a little extra oomph.

The body kit you see in the accompanying images features components fashioned from polyurethane “in OEM quality”. These items are joined by new alloy wheel designs, two suspension options, “exclusive” interior accessories and, of course, a spot of engine tuning.

The two-part front spoiler has been created for models already fitted with the AMG Line package, attaching to the lower section of the facia at the left and right. The company furthermore offers front facia inserts for the side air-intakes.

And those auxiliary lights atop the roof? Well, Brabus says they provide “added safety” when driving at night, with the two LED modules activating when the driver switches on the high beams or flashes the headlamps.

Round back, you’ll find a hatch-affixed spoiler along with a set of four black-chromed tailpipes (each with a diameter of 90 mm). Brabus also offers wheel designs in diameters of 18, 19 and 20 inches, wrapped in high-performance tyres up to a size of 255/40 R20 on the rear axle.

For 4Matic-equipped variants, the tuner says it has developed sport springs “specifically for use” with low-profile rubber. These items drop the ride-height by about 30 mm. In addition, Brabus offers a suspension upgrade for all-wheel-drive derivatives that hikes the ride height by about 35 mm.

Seeking more power, too? Well, the first performance upgrade from Brabus for the GLB is called the PowerXtra B25 kit, which was designed for the GLB250. Ticking this box will see the turbocharged 2,0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine’s standard outputs of 165 kW and 350 N.m increased to 199 kW and 430 N.m. The result is a sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in a claimed 6,6 seconds (half a second quicker than standard) and a top speed of 240 km/h.

Brabus furthermore offers a “host of refinement options” for the interior, including anodised aluminium scuff plates (complete with the Brabus logo), matte anodised aluminium pedals, branded floor mats and various upholstery finishes.
