A German tuner has published images previewing a fresh styling package it plans to offer for the new Volkswagen Golf 8.

The folks over at JMS Fahrzeugteile, a tuning company based in Germany’s Walddorfhäslach, have handed VW’s latest hatchback a body kit that includes a new front lip, chunky side skirts and an aggressive rear diffuser.

Despite this being a standard rather than GTI-badged version of the fresh-faced Golf, the kit includes red detailing along the top of the headlamps and grille, a colour repeated lower down the front bumper and on the brake callipers.

JMS also dropped the Golf’s ride height using a KW suspension kit and added a new exhaust from Eisenmann Exhaust Systems, complete with twin oval tailpipes. The 19-inch “Tzunamee Evo” alloys, meanwhile, come courtesy of Barracuda Wheels and feature red lug nuts.

The tuner says the kit will be available from September 2020.
