Opel has unveiled its new O-Team Zafira Life concept, a show car inspired by the van from The A-Team television series of the 1980s.

The Rüsselsheim-based firm's latest concept boasts 20-inch BBS alloy wheels, a nudge bar, a hefty rear wing and side-sill extensions, along with a bright neon-yellow, white and blue colour scheme.

Built by Opel Special Vehicles, the show car is based on the six-seater, long-wheelbase Zafira Life. It’s powered by a 2,0-litre turbodiesel engine worth 130 kW and 400 N.m, driving the front axle via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Air suspension, four-piston brakes (with 380 mm discs up front) and Michelin Cup 2 tyres are also included. Interestingly, Opel has built in a “sound module” mimicking a V8 petrol engine, while also adding an OPC-design tailpipe. An amplifier and high-performance loudspeakers have furthermore been fitted.

Up front, Opel has slotted in sports seats from the Insignia GSi, while both the second and third rows benefit from rotating “captain's chairs”, each upholstered in fine leather and Alcantara.
