The Porsche Cayenne Turbo has been given a striking wrap by Black Box-Richer ... as well as a huge power upgrade.

Yes, this is same firm that recently customised an Audi RS7 Sportback in a similar fashion.

An eye-catching PWF Obsidian matte-black wrap with a layer of ruby-red vinyl contrasting lines gives the big German SUV a menacing look. Sourced from EightEleven Design in Erftstadt, Germany, the company says the application process is extremely intricate, requiring a week to complete. A set of alloy wheels finished in metallic red is also included.

So, what about that uprated power output? Well, just like the one in the aforementioned RS7, the Cayenne's twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8 has been extensively modified by HGP Turbo, receiving a custom engine control unit, a large-volume air filter box (with a sports air filter), intake manifolds with an enlarged cross-section and a pair of larger turbine shafts, reinforced thrust bearings and enlarged inputs for the turbochargers. New boost pressure sensors have been installed, too.

With these modifications, the Cayenne Turbo's standard peak outputs of 404 kW and 770 N.m have increased to 707 kW and 1 250 N.m (matching the RS7 build). The company says this results in a 0-100 km/h time of just 3,1 seconds, a 0-200 km/h sprint in 10 seconds and a top speed of 333 km/h.
