Hyundai Automotive South Africa has announced it will offer 500 new “Limited Edition” packages for its facelifted Creta.

The package will be offered for all three derivatives in the local Creta range, adding R18 000 to the price in each case.

So, what do you get for the extra cash? Well, the Korean brand has applied a “Limited Edition” badge to the Indian-built SUV’s rump, while a black roof debuts to contrast with the white body paint.

Model-specific two-tone 17-inch alloy wheels are also part of the deal, along with red trim elements on the dashboard and red stitching on the leather seats.

The infotainment system, meanwhile, features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, although Hyundai says buyers also have the option of purchasing an SD card (for the price of R2 100) to use an “off-line navigation function”.

The petrol-powered Creta 1,6 Limited Edition (90 kW/150 N.m) will cost you R372 900 in six-speed manual guise, with the automatic version priced at R397 900. The diesel-powered flagship Creta 1,6 CRDi Limited Edition automatic (94 kW/260 N.m), meanwhile, comes in at R438 900.

A seven-year/200 000 km warranty and a five-year/90 000 km service plan (with intervals of 15 000 km) are also part of the package.
