Belgian tuner BR-Performance has developed a three-stage tuning package for the Volkswagen Polo GTI, with the most extreme kit unlocking 238 kW.

The turbocharged 2,0-litre four-cylinder (EA888) engine has been fitted with a TTE350 turbocharger, Racingline Performance turbo inlet (and muffler delete), Supersprint Exhausts downpipe, Wagner tuning intercooler, Forge Motorsport dump valve and Remus Sport Exhaust catback.

Adding a custom engine control unit, BR-Permormance increased the standard outputs of 147 kW and 320 N.m of torque to 238 kW and 504 N.m in stage three. Stage one features a boost to 177 kW and 449 N.m while stage two pushes outputs to 184 kW and 470 N.m.

BR-Performance hasn’t released any claimed performance figures but the firm says the modification comes with a five-year warranty and a "money back" offer if you’re not satisfied with the enhancement after two weeks.
