At the start of 2019, Lamborghini revealed its Huracán Evo coupé, before whipping the covers off the Spyder version in February. And now we can share pricing for both models with South Africa.

Effectively replacing the LP610-4 variants, these facelifted models slot neatly into the middle of Lamborghini’s local Huracán range (above the LP580-2 derivatives and below the LP640-4 Performante flagships).

So, how much are we looking at here? Well, the Huracán Evo coupé starts at R5 695 000 (some R400 000 more than the model it replaces), while the Huracán Evo Spyder kicks off at R6 265 000 (R470 000 up on the pre-facelift version).

As a reminder, both the hard- and soft-top versions of the Huracán Evo draw their urge from the same version of the naturally aspirated 5,2-litre V10 used by the Huracán Performante, churning out 470 kW at 8 000 r/min and 600 N.m at 6 500 r/min. The ten-cylinder unit features titanium intake valves and a lightweight exhaust system.

Lamborghini says the coupé boasts a dry weight of 1 422 kg, which helps its achieve a claimed zero to 100 km/h time of 2,9 seconds (and a 0-200 km/h sprint of 9,0 seconds). Top speed for this model, meanwhile, comes in at “more than 325 km/h”.

The Huracán Evo Spyder, on the other hand, weighs about a 100 kg more and takes two-tenths longer to hit three figures. Its roof can be electronically lowered in 17 seconds at speeds of up to 50 km/h.
