Toyota South Africa Motors has upgraded the infotainment system on all Fortuner 2,8 GD-6 derivatives, after rolling out the changes to its Hilux GR-Sport and Hilux Legend 50 variants.

So, what does the upgrade (which follows an earlier change in August 2018) entail? Well, the infotainment screen has been enlarged from six to eight inches, and is flush-mounted and integrated into the facia. In addition, traditional rotary dials for volume and tune functions have been added.

The new unit furthermore features key-function shortcut buttons and satellite navigation, as well as DVD, USB, Bluetooth and auxiliary interfaces, in addition to serving as a display for the reverse camera. The system can be manipulated via steering wheel controls.

As before, the local Fortuner range comprises nine derivatives, with four engine options, two transmissions and the choice of 4x2 and 4x4 configurations. Check out updated pricing for the line-up below...
