The new 992-generation Porsche 911 made its public debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show towards the end of November 2018, exclusively in Carrera S and Carrera 4S forms (check out local pricing here). But now a digital artist has rendered four new variants based on the first official images of the eighth-generation model.

The first from X-Tomi Design is one is that certainly won’t be built: a budget, base-spec 911. This model features black plastic front and rear bumpers, steel wheels (wrapped in high-profile tyres) and what appear to be fairly basic headlamps. In addition, its exterior door handles and entry-level side-mirror caps have been finished in black.

Next up is the far more likely Carrera 4S Cabriolet. Here the digital designer simply chopped off the coupé’s roof to create a convertible. Job done (and quite nicely, if you ask us).

Of course, X-Tomi Design has furnished it with a suitably towering rear wing, other model-specific aero elements (including new vents) and the obligatory bright green paintwork. The latest rumours suggest the new 911 GT3 RS will retain its naturally aspirated 4,0-litre but with extra oomph.
