Earlier in June, CARmag.co.za reported Volkswagen South Africa has quietly added a new “Black Style” package to its range of options for the Touareg. And now a similar pack has been confirmed for the Tiguan.

The package is billed as a styling option “designed to enhance the exterior looks and on-road presence” of the SUV.

Specifying the Black Style package for the Tiguan will add R25 200 to the price. Take note, however, that it can be applied only to Comfortline and Highline models.

On the Tiguan, the package includes an R-Line-style frontal arrangement, a body coloured bumper (and lower door elements), black air intakes, an updated grille, black decorative trim on the side windows, black side-mirror housings, privacy glass (for rear and side windows), black roof rails, black headliner and sport suspension.

Comfortline variants feature black 19-inch “Sebring” alloy wheels while Highline derivatives boast black 20-inch “Suzuka” items.

Meanwhile, as we’ve previously reported, the Black Style package for the Touareg will be available only on the Executive model, adding R39 900 to the price.
