Roush Performance has taken the wraps off its new limited-edition Mustang JackHammer, which employs the tuner's TVS 2650 supercharger to hike the 5,0-litre V8's peak outputs to 529 kW and 827 N.m of torque.

To help transfer that extra oomph to the tarmac, Roush has specified a set of Continental ExtremeContact Sport tyres, along with a coilover suspension system and heavy-duty half shafts. The firm has also installed an uprated radiator system.

While the Mustang JackHammer might not look quite as extreme as one might expect, it does gain a sprinkle of added visual aggression thanks those 20-inch black wheels, a high-flow upper grille (plus a new lower opening for the front bumper), a front spoiler with wheel shrouds, front aero "corner pockets" and vents in the bonnet.

You'll also no doubt notice the side scoops and the gloss-black spoiler, as well as the Roush JackHammer graphics pack and requisite badging. Inside the Ford, you'll find a special medallion on the dash, a set of branded floor mats as well as illuminated sill plates.

Roush Performance says it will build just 200 examples of the Mustang JackHammer.
