Time for another drag race! This time, CarWow pits the new Audi RS7 Sportback against the Bentley Flying Spur and Porsche Panamera.

As a reminder, the fresh-faced RS7 Sportback draws its urge from a twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8 petrol engine (with a 48 V mild-hybrid system), sending 441 kW and 800 N.m to all four corners.

Bentley’s Flying Spur makes use of a twin-turbo 6,0-litre W12 (also with a 48 V electrical system) worth 467 kW and 900 N.m, while the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid’s twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8 combines with an electric motor for total system outputs of 500 kW and 850 N.m.

All three feature eight-speed automatic transmissions (the Audi’s is a torque converter while the Bentley’s and Porsche’s are dual-clutches) and all-wheel drive.

Watch the video above to see the three Volkswagen Group contenders take part in a drag battle, a couple of races from a rolling start and a braking test…
