ABT Sportsline has revealed a new tuning package for the A6 Allroad 55 TFSI and TDI, handing the lifted wagon up to 300 kW.

In certain parts of Europe, there’s still a market for performance wagons (and Audi’s certainly got things covered with its S6 and RS6 Avant models, which deliver 331 kW and 441 kW respectively). But ABT’s kit for the A6 Allroad is just as interesting.

By fitting its in-house engine control unit to the twin-scroll turbocharged 3,0-litre V6 petrol mill, ABT has increased the peak outputs of 250 kW and 500 N.m of torque to 300 kW and 550 N.m. The diesel engine, which boasts the same displacement, sees increases from the standard 257 kW and 700 N.m to 282 kW and 760 N.m. In addition, the A6 Allroad’s exhaust system can be fitted with the ABT Sound Control unit for additional volume.

Visually, ABT has kept the wagon almost standard, with the only notable change being the adoption of new alloy wheels. A set of 20- or 21-inch items is offered.

Refinements to the cabin can be made at the customer’s request. These include an ABT-branded start-stop-switchcap and a carbon gear-shift selector cover. An integrated entrance light system, which projects the ABT logo onto the ground when entering or exiting the vehicle, is also available.
