A little over a year ago, Toyota revealed the facelifted 86. And now, with the updated coupé finally set to launch in South Africa in mid-April, we have stumbled across the new range's pricing.

As before, the local line-up will comprise three derivatives, starting with the Standard trim in six-speed manual guise. This variant comes in at R449 600, which represents an increase of R15 500 over the pre-facelift model.

Next up is the High specification, also in manual, at R494 900 (up R6 500), while the High in automatic form again tops the range, at R519 400 (also an increase of R6 500). These two High models feature items such as LED daytime running lights, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, a starter button and a small spoiler.

Under the bonnet, nothing has changed, with the 2,0-litre naturally aspirated, horizontally opposed four-cylinder petrol mill still providing the rear wheels with 147 kW and 205 N.m.
