The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class recently benefited from a facelift (along with the rest of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan range), but now the Stuttgart-based automaker has taken the wraps off a further revised version.

The flagship model (which boasts a 3 365 mm wheelbase as standard) now features a new radiator grille, optional two-tone paintwork and fresh colour combinations inside. Expect a public premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show in March.

The reinterpreted Mercedes-Maybach grille now features fine, vertical (rather than the previous horizontal) struts, with the brand claiming the design – first seen on the Vision Mercedes‑Maybach 6 concept – was “inspired by a pinstriped suit”.

The two-tone exterior paint finish will eventually be offered in nine different colour combinations, with a double clear-coat available as a further option for all dark colours. New 20‑inch multi-spoke alloys will be added to the options list, too.

Inside, fresh two colour combinations (armagnac brown/black and savanna beige/black) will be available, while black “Maybach Exclusive” nappa leather upholstery will soon be offered with a choice of copper-, gold- or platinum-coloured contrasting top-stitching.

As before, Mercedes-Maybach will offer two variants in its sedan range: the S560 with a turbocharged V8 (and also available in 4Matic guise in some markets) and the S650 with a turbocharged V12.
