Also remember to test the aircon when you take the second hand car on a test drive and keep the radio switched off on the test drive so you can listen for any unusual noises that could indicate problems or repairs needed.
It is also a good idea to ask the sales executive for a list of known defects as the Consumer Protection Act requires a used car dealer to declare any known defect of a used car to a potential buyer.
