Audi South Africa has released fresh information about its product plans for the remainder of 2020, as well as giving us a taste of what to expect in 2021.

Sharing a revised launch plan, the Ingolstadt-based firm confirmed a number of vehicles were now scheduled to arrive locally in the final quarter of 2020. Some of these were due to touch down earlier but the COVID-19 pandemic seemingly saw many products pushed back.

In the fourth quarter of 2020, Audi SA says it plans to launch the new Q3 Sportback, as well as a more powerful version of the standard Q3 body style (wearing the 40 TFSI badge).

The facelifted A4 range, which will include the S4, is likewise on the cards for a final-quarter introduction, as is the updated A5 (and S5). The new S7 Sportback is expected to arrive at around the same time, along with the refreshed Q7, SQ7 and new SQ8.

Audi SA furthermore says the first quarter of 2021 will see the launch of the new RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback, along with the updated RS4 Avant and RS5 line-up. Then there’s the facelifted TT RS, refreshed R8, as well as the new RS6 Avant, RS7 Sportback and RS Q8. Interestingly, the S8 is also listed, while no mention is made of the standard A8 models.

Later in 2021, Audi SA says we should also expect to see the facelifted Q2 and refreshed Q5, as well as the new A3 Sportback and the all-electric e-tron.
